 AKRIBEIA
is a Radiation Treatment Planning System that can perform 3D dose calculation and radiation treatment planning for
conformal radiation including head, head and neck, and body Stereotactic
Radiation Surgery (SRS) and Stereotactic Radiation Therapy (SRT) procedures, as
well as CT simulation procedures. Working together with CT or MRI, conformal
lead block or ONIX (RISMED’s Dynamic Multi-leaf Collimator), AKRIBEIA can carry
out intensity modulation radiation therapy (IMRT)*.
AKRIBEIA
can also administrate the Picture Archiving and Communication System
(PACS) for your entire hospital network.
AKRIBEIA was
designed to encourage physician involvement in the planning process
by providing a patient-centered planning approach and automated
planning tools with an intuitive Windows® user
interface. The robust capabilities and easy-to-learn interface make
it an indispensable tool for radiation oncology.
With AKRIBEIA’s 3D imaging capabilities,
organs are automatically recognized and identified with color schemes.
Dosage displays can easily be done with color. The CT bed is also
automatically outlined
for contouring accuracy. These features are
just a few of the standard imaging capabilities that make
