Varian High Energy Load: Standby - 3KVA; Ready - 20KVA; Beam On - 45KVA
Voltage: (one of the following must be specified on order) 1. 208V RMS, ± 5%, (line-to line, 3-phase) 2. 240V RMS, ± 5%, (line-to line, 3-phase) 3. 380/220V RMS ±5% (line-to-line/line-to-neutral, 3-phase, 4-wire plus ground) at 20 KVA and 208/240V RMS ±5% (line-to-line, 3-phase)
Variation: ±5% (maximum allowable deviation from nominal value selected) Frequency: 50 or 60 Hz ( ±5%, specify upon order) Branch circuit protection: 125A (min) per leg nominal trip current; must not trip to 550A, 5 second surge. Installation per local code requirements is user's responsability.
Cooling Water Requirements: With incoming water temperature at 30°C (86°F), a flow of 31 liter/min (8 GPM) is required with a minimum pressure differential of 1.8 kg/cm²(25 PSI) at the machine base. The maximum permissible pressure differential at the machine base is 2.8 kg/cm² (40 PSI). Maximum overall pressure, shall not exceed 7.03 kg/cm² (100 PSI). Incoming water temperature shall be between 10°C and 30°C (50°F-86°F). Power dissipation into cooling water is approximately 2 kW in standby mode, 12.5 kW in ready mode and 25 kW at full power operation.
Ventilation Requirements: Sufficient to remove 5kW from gantry and stand; 3 kW from modulator, 1 kW from control electronics cabinet and 1 kW from operator console.
Compressed Air Requirments: 0.003 m³/minute at 3.6 kg/cm² differential (1 CFM at 50 PSIG). Instrument air quality required.
