  IMRT Mold Cutter

Description: Extremely accurate. The computerized, three-axis milling machine ensures cutting accuracy. Milling can be done quickly, remotely, and at any time.

Uniform radiation dosage: Delivers uniform radiation dosage over the entire treatment area.Creates a compensating filter mold which provides radiation beam attenuation to “compensate” for inhomogeneity

Treatment planning interfaces: Digitized files can be transferred from TPS Treatment planning file conversion is built-in to ensure seamless integration

Precision milling accuracy: Three-axis CNC milling machine ensures accuracy of +1mm. Cuts offset registration holes in block to ensure proper orientation of the compensator on lexan tray

Ease of use: Milling can be done remotely, at any time, freeing valuable treatment space. Uses pre-cut foam blocks. Produces compensators up to approximately 22cm square. Changes for reduction ratio and treatment geometry are programmed into the procedure.

Compensator material: User-definable compensating material. Stainless steel powder, gypsum, and water mixture recommended
